Jordan Peterson, man of wise words who tells the truth openly and honestly.
We should honour, esteem and encourage Jordan Peterson in his quest for honest dialogue, discussion and debate on important issues. He uses language well and wisely. Professor Peterson may get provoked, misrepresented, misunderstood and maligned, but his intellectual capabilities are demonstrably displayed on YouTube and at his sellout debates and conversations.

His latest book is selling extremely well, especially among young men, many of whom are millennials.

BEND: driving round it on Fourth of July
On the Fourth of July, Independence Day in the USA, I was in Bend, Oregon. It was very warm and brilliantly sunny. Some idiots had caused, by fooling around with fireworks, a serious power cut in the town for about two hours. But that did not stop the celebrations later that evening.
When I saw police officers on the streets of Bend I told them, in a friendly and positive way, that they should be proud of their town because it has a very good vibe, a pleasant feel to the place, ideal for a holiday resort area.
It was easy on Sunday morning. Breakfast was large and laid back.

Worship at Village Baptist Church, Beaverton, Oregon
When I am in Oregon I like to attend Village Baptist Church, Chapel Service, in Beaverton, near Portland, USA. Like many successful fellowships in the US it has plenty of parking places and extensive grounds. I like the Chapel service, where it is laid back, contemporary, challenging, engaging with today's culture and musically excellent. I enjoying listening to Pastor Renjy Abraham. His sermons are theologically sound, Bible based, relevant and intellectually stimulating.
